It received the name from the shape formed by the sleeves and body. The t-shirts have been around for more than120 years. They were initially used as underwear; but by the 1930s, they had become a preferred clothing piece among farmers and ranch workers. In the 1950s, the t-shirts then turned into a fashion garment when Marlon Brandon wore it in the movie “A Streetcar Named Desire”. The t-shirts became so popular that boys started using it as casual clothing piece to practice sports or to do any activity in general. In 1960s, they became the most suitable way to express oneself in advertisements and demonstrations.
